here's a tender mercy...
our tv broke on monday. just won't turn on. it's only three years old -- annoying for sure. so i called best buy tonight to find out that when we bought the tv we also agreed to a four year extended warranty. so it's covered and we're covered and yea! we get to just replace it and don't have to spend a cent on it. wahoo!
the crazy part is that we never buy extended warranties. i mean, who does that? not us. ever. i have no idea how or why we decided to buy it at that time, but boy...am i SO glad we had that wild hair. i'd like to believe we were inspired without even knowing it. little did i know it would come in handy like it has.
i know God probably couldn't care less about tv, but i also know He cares a lot about our family. and right now, being as pregnant as i am, that tv buys me naps here and there that are essential to all of our well being. cause when momma's not happy, nobody's happy, right?
plus, dev, chas, and i have been laughing our bottoms off watching Wipeout on tuesday and thursday nights...it's been great to laugh so hard...
so glad He considers the lillies as well as the tv's...and me.

Yeah, losing my t.v. would be bad for my children right now too. There are times and seasons to everything and we just need to be ok with what Mommy needs right now.
The TV is a gift for mothers who need to keep their sanity. I'm so glad it was covered. We are with you about wipeout. My boys (including Adam) love it so much. So fun to laugh at those silly falls and crazy commentators.
the commentators are really what crack me up too! the "john" on the right used to host "talk soup" on comedy central on cable years ago when i was in high school/college. he is so funny.
We thought that only the Japanese would do something so dumb, but apparently not. And dang, is it funny!
