and here's the other recent accomplishment...

avery got on the 'big girl' monkey bars the other day and PLOWED across them. she is so strong! she did it about five times until her arms just couldn't keep going. she was motivated by the fact that no less than two adults and two big girls (probably 3rd grade or so) came over to watch her and boy they just ooooed and ahhhhhed at all the right spots. she was in heaven with the attention. at the end one of the girls said to her, 'that's amazing! i can't even do that yet.' avery was smiling from here to virginia...did you see it?
