these trees line so many of the streets here in Alameda. they've all blossomed in the last week and they are beautiful. sometimes if i'm under one of these beauties and i look up it can feel like it's snowing. alright, so maybe it's not quite like it's snowing. but it's been more than seven years since i've seen snow falling so to my arizona mind it sure seems like snow falling. and the smell! oh yum. they smell scruptious.
