june loves to eat erasers. i'm not sure if we have any uneaten erasers in the house anymore actually. she's not interested in swallowing them, just biting them to pieces (much to the shagrin of the homework-doers in our family!). in fact, she's really great at coming to me after and spitting all the remains out into my hand as the picture shows. i suppose it feels good to bite down with all the teething she's been doing. and it is definitely unique to this little girl. yup. she's our first biter and our first eraser-eater. i guess if you're the fifth in a family you have to reach pretty far to be a first anything. but i don't get the feeling that june is going to follow her siblings quietly. she's a pretty determined cuss. i don't imagine this will be the last time she'll have a "first" in our family.
