so one recent sunday afternoon cole and i were laying on his bed talking it up and enjoying each other's company. like so...
and we heard scraping going on outside. we knew chas, avery, and ike were outside and we thought they were playing on the driveway, but we couldn't quite figure out what the scraping sound was. curious, we looked out the window and saw this:
well, for some crazy reason these kids got it in their head to sweep out under the bushes along our front walkway. i suppose they had completely forgotten it was the sabbath and that we don't do yard work on the sabbath, but as they were already almost done i figured why mess with this great act of service and teamwork? so i took pictures and went back to laying around with cole (my mary) while the rest (my marthas) finished up their kind act of service.
all and all a great sabbath moment.
