back at the beach

now that the weather is getting warmer -- and boy is that relative these days! -- we are back to the beach by the bay. we love the san francisco bay even if it is a little on the not-so-clean side. what's a little dirt now and then, right?

chas and cole found this giant hole someone had spent a lot of time digging out before we arrived on scene. cole is actually standing nearly waist deep in it. what a fun surprise to find!

the best part about having older kids is that they can join me in the rotation when we have to chase after isaac. ike just LOVES the beach and is always trying to escape into the water. if he just played at the water's edge it'd be no problem, but he will just keep going in further and further -- even as the water is splashing him in the face practically choking him. hmmm...makes me wonder about the smarts, you know?

and ave bringing him back... can you tell she's using all the muscles in her body just to carry him? well, and a few to laugh with...for some reason she thinks he is SO hysterical. she's always laughing so hard around him.
