My visit to Avery's school

a couple of weeks ago i got to stay for the day at avery's preschool. thought i'd post a couple of the pictures i managed to take. it is always fun to see her doing her own thing -- cause she has her own thing to do, let me tell you! these pictures were taken during snack time and the little boy next to her is her very best friend, Finn.

finn and avery do everything together at school and we stay after on fridays with finn, finn's bro sam, and their dad. (they are a great family.
finn's dad is in his mid to late 50's and is a retired elementary school teacher so it's felt comfortable hanging out with him at the park. lots to talk about while we watch the kids.)
this preschool is run by the parks and rec department here in alameda and is my most favorite thing we've discovered so far because it's a great value and is so reasonably priced -- unlike practically everything else in california. this is ave's last year and then it's off to kindergarten. can't wait for that either -- she's ready to go! isn't her smile just beautiful in this picture?
